Our own clinical experiences with deep electrodes in psychophysiological studies

The experiences obtained during 30 years work with the deep electrodes gave the possibility to formulate some psychophysiological concepts of 1) memory, 2) vertical homunculus and 3) cooperation between limbic system and hypothalamus. Simultaneously they hinted at the exploitation of Au-Fe dipole for the stereotactic treatment of epilepsy and at the kindling phenomenon in man.
