Objective:
To study the pyrrolizidine alkaloids of Senecio cannabifolius var. integrilifolius.
Method:
Various chromatographic methods were used for the isolation and purification of chemical constitutents of the plant and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral analysis.
Result:
Four compounds were determinated as jacobine(1), jacoline(2), jaconine(3), senecicannabine(4).
Conclusion:
All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
