Morphine-induced changes of leukocyte functional properties in vitro
1Institute of Physiology, Medical Faculty of the Palacký University, Olomouc, Czechoslovakia.
Abstract:
In the in vitro experiments morphine was found to significantly affect the studied functional properties of leukocytes, namely spontaneous migration, adherence, phagocytic activity, and metabolic level of phagocytizing cells. Morphine decreased spontaneous migration and leukocyte adherence and increased phagocytic activity of leukocytes.
