The relationship between PTH and 25-hydroxy vitamin D early in pregnancy

The relationship between parathyroid hormone (PTH) and vitamin D (25(OH)D) is unreliable for assessing sufficiency in early pregnancy. Maternal vitamin D levels sufficient for neonates may offer a better benchmark.
