Abstract:
In the title compound, C(24)H(24)N(7) (3+)·3NO(3) (-), the cation exhibits a distorted propeller-like conformation in which the benzimid-azolium fragments form dihedral angles of 9.4 (1), 10.7 (1) and 19.1 (1)° with each other. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link cations and anions into double ribbons propagated in [100]. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions further consolidate the packing.
