  • To ascertain graduating fellows' self-assessment of their proficiency in intussusception reduction.

  • A survey was distributed to pediatric radiology fellows in June 2010.
  • Fellows were asked to describe their fellowship experience.
  • Fellows reported the number of intussusception reductions performed and assessed their training adequacy.

Main Results:

  • 31 fellows responded, representing nearly one-third of the fellow population.
  • On average, fellows performed 6.9 intussusception reductions, with 3.8 under indirect faculty supervision.
  • 90% of fellows felt well-trained, while 10% were uncertain; none reported inadequate training.
