Abstract:
As nurse educators, we believe that the incidence of failure on NCLEX-RN can be reduced by counteracting the circumstances likely to produce failure. A twofold approach to preventing failure is described: an academic advisement and development program and a post-graduation workshop designed to assist graduates to prepare for NCLEX-RN. Evaluation data on the two approaches is presented.
