The emergency of maltreatments, abuses and gender-oriented violence in private home life and in social environments are risks factors to generate acute events that generate physical impairments and mental health disorders in the woman, both in short and in long time, with negative effects and dangerous consequences in her social life. A multi-level and multi-professional approach, that involve physicians, psychologists, psychiatrics and medical services in relation with social workers and laws, is fundamental to fulfil a purpose of reduction of social and medical risks in the woman and also in other related figures (children, family and community).
