Piperidinium 4-hydr-oxy-3-methoxy-carbon-yl-1,2-benzothia-zin-2-ide 1,1-dioxide
Abstract:
In the anion of the title compound, C(5)H(12)N(+)·C(10)H(8)NO(5)S(-), the thia-zine ring adopts a distorted half-chair conformation and the enolic H atom is involved in an intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond, forming a six-membered ring. The anions and cations are connected via N-H⋯N and N-H⋯O inter-actions.

π Molecular Orbitals of 1,3-Butadiene
The simplest conjugated diene is 1,3-butadiene: a four-carbon system where each carbon is sp2-hybridized and has an unhybridized p orbital that contains an unpaired electron. According to molecular orbital theory, atomic orbitals combine to form molecular orbitals such that the number...
