Abstract:
The title compound, C(10)H(11)N(3)O(3), was prepared by the reaction of acetohydrazide and 1-(4-nitro-phen-yl)ethanone. The asymmetric unit contains two crystallographically independent mol-ecules. Inversion-related mol-ecules form dimers, in which two N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate an inter-molecular R(2) (2)(8) ring.
