Abstract:
The title compound, C(13)H(17)N(3)S, was synthesized by the reaction of 4-pentyl-benzoic acid and thio-semicarbazide. The dihedral angle between the thia-diazole and phenyl rings is 29.9 (2)°. An intra-molecular C-H⋯S inter-action is observed. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonding links the mol-ecules into centrosymmetric dimers.
