Abstract:
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(11)H(11)NO(3), contains two crystallographically independent mol-ecules. The aromatic rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 56.17 (5)°. The furan rings adopt envelope conformations. Intra-molecular C-H⋯N inter-actions results in the formation of two six-membered rings with twisted conformations. In the crystal structure, three weak C-H⋯π inter-actions are found.
