Abstract:
In the title compound, [Pd(C(9)H(6)N(3)O(3)S)Cl], the Pd(II) ion is coordinated by one O and two N atoms from a 4-(pyridin-2-yl)pyrimidine-2-sulfonate ligand and one chloride anion in a distorted square-planar geometry. In the crystal, all mol-ecules are situated on mirror planes and inter-act through weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
