Differences in metabolic risk factors between normal weight and overweight children

Overweight pre-pubertal children exhibit elevated metabolic risks, independent of physical activity (PA) or cardio-respiratory fitness (CRF). However, higher PA and CRF are linked to reduced insulin levels in children.
