Acupuncture attenuates exercise-induced increases in skin sympathetic nerve activity

Acupuncture does not affect resting skin sympathetic nerve activity (SSNA) in healthy individuals. However, LI4 acupuncture can reduce SSNA when it is acutely elevated during stress, like handgrip exercise.
