Progress toward measles elimination in the Eastern Mediterranean Region

Significant progress has been made in reducing measles transmission in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR) through increased vaccination coverage and surveillance. However, challenges remain, preventing the region from achieving measles elimination by 2010.
