Thalidomide (Thal) combined with chemotherapy or dexamethasone may increase deep vein thrombosis (DVT) risk by promoting procoagulant activity. This occurs through phosphatidylserine exposure or tissue factor expression, suggesting a need for anticoagulant strategies.
