Background:

Brown-McLean syndrome is a rare corneal presentation.
It is typically associated with intracapsular cataract extraction (ICCE) or multiple anterior segment surgeries.
The condition develops over time following these procedures.

Observation:

Two patients with Brown-McLean syndrome were evaluated.
Both patients had a history of intracapsular cataract extraction with peripheral iridectomies performed many years prior.
Their current examinations revealed the characteristic corneal presentation.

Brown-McLean syndrome can be easily overlooked or misdiagnosed.
The syndrome is linked to specific surgical histories, particularly ICCE.
