Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy (CART-19) with 4-1BB signaling domains shows significant in-vivo expansion and potent anti-tumor activity in refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients. These modified cells persist long-term and effectively target tumor sites.
