Local inflammatory markers and systemic endotoxin in aggressive periodontitis

Systemic endotoxin levels are elevated in localized aggressive periodontitis (LAP), correlating with increased inflammatory mediators in gingival crevicular fluid and disease severity. This links systemic factors to local inflammation in LAP.
