Localisation of human papillomavirus 16 E7 oncoprotein changes with cell confluence

The location of human papillomavirus type 16 E7 protein shifts from the nucleus and cytoplasm to the cytoplasm in confluent cells. This change, along with increased E7 levels, is independent of cell cycle or differentiation.
