Summary

Guided vertical bone regeneration was achieved using non-glycosylated recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (ng/rhBMP-2) with biomaterial scaffolds and retainers. This method enhanced bone height and bone-to-implant contact around dental implants.
