Rugae patterns as an adjunct to sex differentiation in forensic identification

Palatal rugae patterns offer a novel forensic identification method. Analyzing rugae shapes with logistic regression analysis (LRA) allows for highly accurate sex determination in Indian populations, aiding identification when other methods fail.
