Trans-areola single-incision endoscopic thyroidectomy (TASIET) is a novel, minimally invasive technique for thyroid nodules. This first reported case demonstrates feasibility, excellent cosmetic outcomes, and patient benefits.

Findings:

  • TASIET successfully delineated the recurrent laryngeal nerve and parathyroid glands.
  • The surgery resulted in minimal blood loss (<20 mL) and a 156-minute operative time.
