Summary

Large variations in outcomes between centers in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) randomized controlled trials (RCTs) did not significantly alter the estimated treatment effect, contrary to clinical beliefs. This finding impacts how treatment efficacy is assessed in TBI research.
