Influence of lactoferrin in preventing preterm delivery: a pilot study

Lactoferrin (Lf) supplementation may help normalize vaginal flora and reduce inflammatory markers in pregnant women at risk of preterm birth. This preliminary study suggests Lf could be a valuable tool in preventing infections that lead to premature delivery.
