Platelet mao activity in chronic schizophrenia.

Platelet monoamine oxidase (MAO) activity did not differ significantly between chronic schizophrenic patients, their relatives, and healthy controls. However, a strong correlation in enzyme activity was observed between patients and their first-degree relatives.
