These variables collectively illuminate critical areas for enhancing professional commitment.
Specific factors like adequate training, supportive work environments, and appropriate role assignments emerged as key drivers.

Conclusions:

Investing in training and competency-based education is essential for promoting commitment to aging practice.
Ensuring sufficient job challenge and appropriate role assignments consistent with practitioners' skills will encourage retention in gerontology.
Addressing these critical areas can help strengthen the social work profession's dedication to serving aging populations.
