Acute phase response in cattle infected with Anaplasma marginale

Acute phase responses in cattle infected with Anaplasma marginale were evaluated. Serum amyloid A (SAA) concentration increased significantly, indicating it as a sensitive marker for inflammation in bovine anaplasmosis.
