Outcomes after conversion in the Veterans Affairs randomized on versus off bypass trial

Patients converted from off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgery experienced worse short-term and long-term outcomes. Emergent conversions in OPCAB patients showed the worst 30-day composite outcomes.
