Summary

Current firefighters show higher dioxin levels, including polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs), and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Exposure is linked to firefighting occupation, with levels decreasing after employment ends.
