Haptoglobin polymorphism is not associated with prostate cancer in blacks

Haptoglobin (Hp) gene variations do not appear to influence prostate cancer (Pca) risk or outcomes. This study found no significant association between Hp polymorphism and susceptibility to Pca in the studied population.
