Mitochondrial dysfunction and Down's syndrome: is there a role for coenzyme Q(10) ?

Coenzyme Q(10) (CoQ(10)) shows promise in treating Down syndrome (DS) by reducing oxidative stress and improving mitochondrial function. Studies suggest CoQ(10) may also enhance DNA repair mechanisms in DS patients.
