BK polyomavirus (BKV) genotyping in kidney transplant patients is crucial for detecting BKV-associated nephropathy (BKVN). A new high-resolution melt analysis (HRMA) method offers a rapid, cost-effective tool for BKV genotyping, identifying predominant strains in patients.
