Kaposi's Sarcoma-Associated Herpesvirus (KSHV) infection utilizes a nuclear noncoding RNA (PAN RNA) to promote the production of late viral proteins. This finding reveals a novel function for long noncoding RNAs in gamma herpesvirus replication.
