Detection of a fourth orbivirus non-structural protein

A new viral protein, non-structural protein 4 (NS4), has been identified in Orbivirus. This protein, encoded by an overlapping open reading frame in segment 9, is found in both insect-borne and tick-borne viruses and associates with cellular structures.
