Hematological malignancy associated with polymyositis and dermatomyositis.

This study found polymyositis/dermatomyositis (PM/DM) patients have a higher risk of hematological malignancies, particularly lymphoma. Older age and dermatomyositis (DM) were predictive factors, while anti-Jo1 antibodies indicated lower risk.
