Wrist extension strength required for power grip: a study using a radial nerve block model

Wrist extension strength (WES) strongly correlates with grip strength (GS). Antagonistic WES, needed to prevent wrist flexion during a fist, was 51% of standard WES, while grip strength was 66%.
