Overlapping cognitive patterns in schizophrenia and methamphetamine dependence

Early methamphetamine (MA) abusers showed significant attentional deficits on the Stroop task, more so than schizophrenia patients. These cognitive impairments in MA users correlated with drug use duration and inversely with abstinence length.
