Summary

The introducer percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) gastropexy technique showed marginally lower infection scores compared to the conventional pull PEG method, despite a longer procedure time. This new technique may reduce peristomal infections in patients requiring long-term enteral access.
