Dentin matrix protein-1 activates dental pulp fibroblasts

Dentin matrix protein-1 (DMP-1) is found in inflamed dental pulps and stimulates inflammatory responses in pulp fibroblasts. Inhibiting DMP-1 may offer a new therapeutic strategy for dental pulp inflammation and calcification.
