Abstract:
It is unknown how many cases of acute myocardial infarction, fatal or non-fatal, are treated non-clinically. Using various approaches to the available figures from hospital records and statistics of causes of death, it appears possible, however, to conclude that apart from the number of deaths the number of cases, also, has decreased fairly markedly in the last few years.
