Smart roadside system for driver assistance and safety warnings: framework and applications

This study presents a smart roadside system using new sensors for real-time driver assistance and traffic safety warnings via Intelligent Transport Systems (ITSs). Micro-simulation shows efficient solutions for red-light and speed advisory services.
