Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) levels significantly decreased two days after acute myocardial infarction (AMI), suggesting rapid clearance. However, elevated PSA in severe cases indicates potential links to complications.

- PSA/albumin ratio was calculated to assess dilution effects.

- A significant decrease in total PSA (tPSA) levels and tPSA/Albumin ratio was observed on day 2 compared to days 0 and 3.

- Four patients with severe complications (renal failure, cardiac failure, etc.) showed elevated tPSA levels.
Conclusions:
- tPSA levels decrease post-AMI, likely due to rapid clearance from circulation via complex formation with acute phase proteins.
- Elevated tPSA in patients with severe complications may indicate a link between myocardial infarction severity and PSA dynamics.
