  • Investigated the relationship between image intensity, scatterer distance, B integral, and phase shift.
  • Main Results:

    • Hot images were found to form at the in-beam locations of scatterers.
    • A single second-order hot image forms at the midpoint between scatterers.
    • Image intensity exhibits suppression and oscillates with increasing scatterer distance.
    • The presence of multiple scatterers significantly alters the effects of the B integral and phase shifts compared to single-scatterer cases.

    Conclusions:

    • The number of scatterers critically impacts nonlinear imaging properties.
    • Observed phenomena deviate from single-scatterer analytical predictions.
    • Findings highlight the complexity introduced by multiple scattering events in nonlinear optical imaging.
