Restoring hearing using total ossicular replacement prostheses--analysis of 3D finite element model

For better hearing restoration during total ossicular replacement surgery (TORP), retaining the stapes footplate is crucial. Optimal auditory outcomes are achieved when the TORP is precisely positioned at the center of the stapes footplate.
