Abstract:
In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Cu(HCO(2))(C(7)H(8)N(4))(2)]ClO(4), the Cu(II) ion is octa-hedrally coordinated by one bidentate formate ion and two bidentate bis-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methane ligands. There are C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.487 (3) Å] in the crystal structure. The perchlorate anion is disordered over two positions with an occupancy ratio of 0.628 (9):0.372 (9).
