Primary hyperparathyroidism and celiac disease: a population-based cohort study.

Patients with celiac disease (CD) have a nearly double risk of developing primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT). However, the absolute risk of PHPT is small and this increased risk diminishes after five years.
