Reducing fluoroquinolone use significantly decreased rates of fluoroquinolone-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). This 4-year study demonstrates the sustained impact of antibiotic stewardship programs on combating resistant bacteria.
