Critical care RN student elective: a recruitment approach

Recruiting experienced RNs into critical care is a valuable goal. In this article, the authors describe a senior year critical care nursing elective for registered nurse students in a BSN completion program entirely developed and presented by nursing service personnel. This program increases the exposure of RNs to critical care as a specialty which they might want to continue after graduation.
